Viscose (with CIRCULOSE®)
This material is part of our Fabric of the Future initiative, set up in 2019 to research, develop and invest in innovative materials that are paving the way for the future of fashion.
CIRCULOSE® is a next-gen cellulosic material made from cotton-rich textile waste. By recovering cellulose from items like worn-out cotton jeans and cotton production scraps, CIRCULOSE® can be used to produce viscose, lyocell, modal, acetate, and other man-made cellulosic fibres. These fibres are then spun into yarns and woven or knitted into fabrics. CIRCULOSE® serves as an alternative to cotton or virgin materials typically sourced from wood pulp.
CIRCULOSE® is a registered trademark of Circulose.
