Responsibility

At GANNI, we’ve never claimed to be perfect, and we’re not trying to be.
We’ve never labelled ourselves a “sustainable brand,” because in today’s fashion industry, absolute sustainability simply isn’t possible. But what we do believe in is transparency, ongoing learning, and a deep responsibility to do better, every single day.
Our formal responsibility journey began in late 2019 with the launch of the first GANNI GAMEPLAN, a strategic framework outlining our commitments across four key pillars: people, planet, product, and prosperity. It marked a significant shift in how we embed responsibility into every part of our business, from design and sourcing to climate action and community impact.
Since then, we’ve been focused on evolving in real, measurable ways. Each year, we publish a Responsibility Report to provide a transparent, in-depth look at our progress, not to seek praise, but to openly share both our wins and our challenges.
We’re not chasing perfection. Our goal is to become the most responsible version of ourselves, by embracing innovation, challenging the status quo, and pushing for systemic change within and beyond our industry.
Because responsibility isn’t a destination, it’s an ongoing journey. And we’re in it for the long haul.
2024 Responsibility Report
In this year’s report, we continue to advance our sustainability vision through our GAMEPLAN 2.0 strategy, our roadmap for 2025 and beyond. We remain dedicated to making meaningful strides across our key pillars: social impact, climate action and biodiversity, materials and innovation and circularity. We acknowledge the work still ahead of us and are proud to maintain our B Corp certification and will recertify in 2025.
At GANNI, we’re on a mission to become the most responsible version of ourselves. We've set a bold, moonshot goal: to cut our total carbon footprint by 50% by 2027 (from a 2021 baseline). With nearly 70% of our total emissions coming from the fibres, fabrics and materials we use, we’re committed to making better choices every day to reduce emissions without compromising on design or quality. At GANNI, this takes two forms: Preferred Materials and Fabrics of the Future.
