Recycled Cotton
Using recycled cotton, backed by the Global Recycling Standard (GRS) or the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), is one of our preferred options when it comes to this fibre. This means that the cotton is sourced from pre-consumer and/or post-consumer cotton material waste that has been collected, cleaned, and reprocessed into new yarn.
Post-consumer recycling involves collecting, sorting, and recycling items previously used by consumers, while pre-consumer recycling refers to the recycling of waste generated during the manufacturing process, such as scraps, trimmings, and unused materials before they reach the consumer.
