Many use recycled wool or recycled nylon. Prices run from around $475 to just under $1,000 for a full-length trench.

Usually just a short or cropped trench, sometimes a trench jacket. It keeps the belt, collar and clean lines of a classic trench, cut to the hip or waist.
For spring and mild autumn, yes, especially layered over a knit. For real cold, move up to a wool peacoat or a quilted long coat.
