In January 2019 we became a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), the apparel, footwear, and textile industry’s leading alliance for sustainable production and industry collaboration. Members of the coalition are committed to measuring and improving social and environmental sustainability impacts.
We use the Higg Index, to enable us to make informed material decisions based on the most credible data. It means we can share value chain environmental performance information with our suppliers and other brands too.
We support all 17 goals, but focus on (5) Gender Equality, (12) Responsible Production and Consumption, and (13) Climate Action. Our Responsibility ambassadors each work with a SDG to embed it in our company culture and actions.
We joined the UN and Deloitte’s SDG Accelerator programme to create GANNI Lab, a test environment for projects that tackle some of the global challenges the fashion industry faces.
Last year we donated 100% of proceeds from our Copenhagen Fashion Week pop-up Kiosk to Conservation International. All proceeds from this year's 202020 KIOSK will be donated to I:CO, our take back scheme partner, to further invest in circularity within the fashion industry.
