Kaitlyn Sardin brings the Sporty Ballerina into motion. Her steps are quick, precise and full of joy, the kind that makes rhythm something you can see as much as feel.
There’s something instinctive in the way she moves, a sense of timing that feels natural rather than rehearsed. In the Sporty Ballerinas, everything feels light, effortless and completely in sync.

In Conversation With Kaitlyn Sardin
When did you first realise that dance was a source of real joy for you?
When I got on the stage when I was 3. I love being able to express myself with my movements and seeing how people react has always been one of my favourite things to witness.
What has this style of dance taught you about yourself?
It’s taught me that I love finding places in music to add rhythm. It almost feels like you're the drummer adding little notes to each song. This style has shown me that working hard and consistently can make you achieve anything including your wildest dreams.
Is there one performance that has felt especially powerful?
Performing for Beyoncé was honestly the most powerful moment for me. It felt incredible to show the world Irish dancing and it felt amazing being able to perform with my favourite artist. I cherish the moment so much and I'm incredibly grateful for the experience.
What was it like to bring the spirit of traditional dance to the GANNI Ballerina?
It felt amazing! The GANNI ballerinas felt so sleek on my feet and I felt so quick in them. It was just like a soft shoe in Irish dancing.
